Project spotlight: basement entrance rebuild
This September we rebuilt a below-grade basement entrance at a brick home on Long Island. Over four visits the crew poured new concrete wall caps, installed a sump pump and drain line, set a new areaway drain, parged the walls and poured a new floor pitched to the drain. The result: a clean, dry entrance that looks finished.
